Regular readers of Insider will likely have a good grasp of what the common issues are that occupy classical liberals and the minds here at the IEA. You will see the problems we see, such as sluggish growth, failing state-run institutions and the unrelenting march of the nanny state. You probably share our concern about these problems, and hopefully our belief in the proposed solutions.
However, one area that does not get as much attention in classical liberal circles is crime.
There are number of reasons that it may not excite liberals as a topic in the same way that deregulation, tax and spending cuts, or innovative solutions to our growth problems might.
