Brilliant disucssion on the triple lock paradox. Wild's framing of it as politically untouchable yet economically untenable captures what so many analysts miss. I remember when my firm ran projections on similar inter-generational transfers and the numbers just dont add up past 2035 without brutal tax hikes. The point about capital mobility killing wealth taxes but land being fixed really shifts the whole tax reform conversation in a way most policymakers haven't fully grasped yet.
